Platypus Viewing

The resort is a short walk from the platypus viewing platforms that are open to the public and free to access.

 

The best times to see platypus are when they feed in the early morning or late afternoon.

Due to its altitude, Eungella offers some great views of nearby valleys. These are accessible by car and by foot.

Spotlighting

Guests can join our resident environmentalist for a guided evening walk through the rainforest. This is a unique opportunity to see nocturnal animals in the national park.

Away from city lights, on clear nights you can easily see the Milky Way.
